Dyed with indigo in a madder and bran based indigo fermentation vat. The wool can contain some plant matter. Organic merino top from South Africa, GOTS certified and from museling-free sheep.23 microns, staple length about 75-80mm.

When you work with naturel indigo-dyed fibers, some blue can rub off on your fingers and tools. this is perfectly normal for indigo-dyed products and is even considered a quality in countries where traditional indigo dyes are still in use, it means it's "the real stuff" and not some synthetic dye. I do my best to minimize rub-off with special procedures and vats adapted to each fiber, but I can't avoid it completely.
