This vintage piece of fabric has been boiled then dyed with a fermentation indigo vat (based on indigo, madder and bran). this kind of vat requires constant care and the dyeing process requires at least a dozen dips over a few days.
You can use it as a table-runner or for any craft project.
Care: machine or hand wash without detergents or softeners (pure Marseille soap works well), add some vinegar to the rinsing water. dry in the shade.
