The Manx Loaghtan is a very old breed, originating from the Isle of Man and now bred throughout the United Kingdom. Descending from primitive european sheep breeds, it was almost extinct in the 70's. Staple lenght is 75-80mm, it's a nice wool to spin with a hand spindle!
